Our Pledge

Bodhya is a platform for collaboration, learning, and building free and open communities for students and professionals in Bihar and beyond. We are committed to making participation in all Bodhya spaces — events, online forums, social media, Telegram channels, and GitHub — a welcoming experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices.

We expect all participants to help us maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are not tolerated in any Bodhya space, online or offline:

Participants asked to stop unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately.


Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all Bodhya-organized or Bodhya-affiliated spaces, including:

It applies to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, organizers, and Bodhya staff.


Reporting

If you are being harassed, witness harassment, or observe a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately:

All reporters will remain anonymous. We will respond to reports within 48 hours.


Enforcement

Bodhya organizers will investigate all reports and take action proportionate to the violation:

  1. Warning — a private written warning with an explanation of the violation
  2. Temporary ban — temporary suspension from Bodhya spaces for a defined period
  3. Permanent ban — permanent removal from all Bodhya spaces

The Bodhya team's decisions are final.
